And what cars can you/ can you not fit in?

I personally am 6'1 and the C6 Corvette leaves me with very little headroom. An 08 Honda Civic is the worst though. That thing was damn small.

5'11 but pretty fat. I can’t fit in a Miata, I barely fit in a single-cab Ranger (my gut hits the steering wheel, and the pedals are too close), and I do fit in all Mustangs/Camaros. Oh, and I don’t fit in a ‘69 Chevy Corvair unless I add seat track extenders...but that’s not to do with fatness, my 5'3" dad found it a little tight with the seat all the way back.

I’m 6' 2" and I usually don’t have many issues with cars, but , like you, I can barely fit in my friend’s civic, I don’t fit in the back of the Audi A7,
I don’t fit in the factory-5 818 hardtop (I was at factory-5 last week, damn cool place they’ve got there) and I don’t fit in the Tesla Roadster unless either the “fixed” carbon fiber roof is on, or the soft top is off. I also have very little headroom in the back of my mom’s Jetta wagon, and I remember having to do the gangsta lean in order to drive a Z-28 Camaro earlier this year. There’s probably others I’m forgetting, but yeah, being tall can be a struggle sometimes.

Once in it was almost tolerable, Getting out had my colleague laughing hysterically, and a few others clearly wanted to join in the laughter. After that, scratch lotus of my wish list.

I’m six feet tall, but being fat my real issue with a lot of vehicles is width. Giant center consoles and center stacks on most modern cars are the bane of my existence. For example, I do not fit in the giant long wheel base Jaguar XJ. The doors are so thick, and the center console is so wide, that when I closed the door my legs crushed my gentleman’s bits together. That’s the worst one I’ve ever experienced the reverse-tardis effect in.

My attempts to sit in an ND Miata and 4-door Mini were both utter failures. I was not even able to make it through the door of the 4-door Mini.

Most sadly I do not fit in a C7 Vette.

At 6' 2" I fit well in most vehicles. All the MX-5/Miatas I’ve sat in have my knees hit the steering wheel. I even had a bit of that before I switched to heel & toe shifting around town in my BMW 328i (1996).

Knees in the steering wheel is actually a common problem on Asian car models. The steering wheel doesn't telescope out far enough, so I'm left with arms extended more than is comfortable.

I’m 6'3" to 6'4" depending on the day and my shoes... so I go by 6'4". There are a lot of cars I’m not comfortable in. That said, I make myself fit in my ‘54 MG, and with the convertible top up there is actually quite a lot of headroom. The number one question I’m asked when I drive it is “How do you fit in there?!”

It’s one of the reasons I like Buick, loved my old GMC Yukon, and my wife’s ‘08 Passat. I can fit in a Golf/Jetta, but I wouldn’t like to go on a long drive in one.

I have a friend who had a McLaren MP4-12c for a little while and I really just didn’t fit in the drivers seat. Getting in and out was hilariously awkward, but I had to do it. I could have driven it, but was nervous about the combination of it’s power level and my lack of room to work the controls, so I passed. My knees were tight around the steering wheel no matter what I tried to do. I could passenger in it though, and it was quite the ride.
